Hi quilting friends,
We will be meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM for our regular workday. Please knock loudly on the door to have someone let you in.
We always appreciate receiving notes of thanks from folks who receive our quilts. This is a lovely note from Bonnie who received one of our quilts.
“I recently started chemo treatments at St. Luke’s in Twin Falls. I was pleasantly surprised when my nurse showed me the cupboard where I could pick out a handmade blanket to provide warmth and comfort. The quilted lap blanket I chose is absolutely beautiful. The cabin and tree design is so stunning and touches my heart. I am so impressed by the Community Quilts group and what they do for the community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Future needs for those of you creating quilts include: bunks, infant, and youth sized quilts. We have a lot of kits for you to choose from.
We have scheduled a two-day tying event in the Community Room at KMVT. The days are Wednesday, June 5, and Thursday, June 6. There will be more information to follow. Please tell the folks you know who would like to tie that we are happy to have more people join us.
We will be meeting in our workroom at KMVT on the following dates (first Wednesday and third Monday each month). Our times are 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
